PROJECT ENGAGEMENT STRUCTURE

An engagement with Vanderbilt SCNO lasts for 2 semesters (Fall and Spring).

Each client is carefully paired with a project team consisting of a Project Manager overseeing 5-6 Student Consultants,

Each team receives support from a Managing Director, a SCNO member on the Executive Board that provides feedback, direction, and development resources to the team. Managing Directors have previous management consulting experience.

Occasionally, SCNO alumni from top consulting organizations such as Bain & Company, McKinsey, Deloitte, and BCG provide invaluable guidance and direction to our teams.

testimonials from past clients

We’ve been impressed with Vanderbilt SCNO students’ enthusiasm, commitment, and resourcefulness. The students bring fresh perspectives and strong analytical skills to the issues they investigate.
— Helen Sanders, Nashville Public Library
The SCNO students exceeded our every expectation! They managed our regular meetings and feedback sessions with a professionalism that surpassed the majority of private consulting companies I have worked with during my 35+ year healthcare career. Without exception, SCNO products and recommendations were thoroughly researched and reflected an entrepreneurial wellspring of ideas.
I highly recommend SCNO to Nashville-based nonprofits – prepare to be impressed!
